At Patriot Assistance Dogs, we train and provide service dogs at no cost to veterans with PTSD, TBI and other mental health diagnoses to help them regain their independence. About 75% of our dogs come from rescues. 

We train these psychiatric service dogs to mitigate symptoms related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Anxiety, and Depression. They can aid in the veteran’s ability to go out in public, interact in a positive manner with their community, and improve overall quality of life.
